Transforming Foundation Industry Investment Partnership
April 16, 2021 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm
| FreeKTN’s Investment Team will provide practical advice on how to prepare and write the one-page investment profile application for the Transforming Foundation Industry Investor Partner programme.
Emma Fadlon from the KTN’s Investment Team will provide practical advice on how to prepare and write the one-page investment profile application and what other supporting collateral may be reviewed by investors when reviewing the one-page investment summaries.
A one-page investment summary is a handout version of your investment pitch and is a stand-alone document. Its objective is to pique the interest of potential investors and demonstrate how this opportunity aligns to the funds’ investment thesis.
For this competition the majority of the focus should be on the company investment strategy but must also be tailored to the competition brief. It should highlight the grant alignment being sought through the TFI competition.
This workshop will cover the structure and content of the investment summary and advice on how to review supporting public information to complement the investment summary.
About the TFI Investment Partnership Competition
The Transforming Foundation Industry Investor Partner programme is now offering the chance for smaller UK-registered companies to access Innovate R&D project funding alongside Investor equity investment. Our selected Investor Partners will offer equity at least equal to the funding from Innovate, enabling companies an excellent opportunity to scale and grow at pace. Projects should address the resource productivity or energy performance opportunities of the sector and/or its supply chains.
Innovate UK will offer grant funding for qualifying projects with total eligible costs of £50k to £2m. There is a total of £7m funding available from Innovate UK, which is in addition to the funding from our five Investor Partners. To apply for Innovate funding, you must be invited by one of our Investor Partners.
This is a rolling competition, opening April 15th, with applications considered every six weeks. You can view the competition briefing recording here.
Online networking will be on offer after each webinar series using the Meeting Mojo platform. Delegates are strongly encouraged to register and take part in the 1:1 networking meetings. This will enable conversations with other attendees, as would be available during a physical event. Details will be sent to you directly once registered.
