Scottish Rural Network,Scottish Rural Action, Transport Scotland and JML Consulting invite you to join
us for one or two days to discuss how we can shape transport provision to meet
the needs of rural communities and grow the rural economy, topics will include:
Day 1: Growing the rural economy
- Maximising opportunities from new technology to grow the rural economy: tourism, supply chain collaboration, food and drink, Mobility as a Service
- Supporting a sustainable thriving rural tourism industry
- Reaching customers: the future of freight and logistics
- Business-to-business supply: collaboration and solutions
Day 2: Meeting the needs of rural communities and individuals
- Developing and supporting community-led transport solutions
- Meeting the needs of young and older people
- Enabling active travel opportunities
- Ensuring new technology meets rural community needs
Delegates for day one and day two are welcome to attend the conventions dinner, free of charge, on the evening of day 1.
