Hydrogen reality – why now?
May 30 @ 9:30 am - 2:00 pm
Join thought leaders from across industry, government and academia to explore how we could collaborate to realise a low-carbon hydrogen society. Our event will bring together key energy, transport and infrastructure leaders to discuss hydrogen challenges and opportunities, application and commercial drivers as well as available support to move forward with the technology.
Hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe and can be generated anywhere. As a fuel, it can be used as gas for domestic cooking, power generation and transport. It can be converted to green-diesel, green-kerosene and ammonia for fertilisers, and the gas can be stored to balance the electricity consumption market.
Hydrogen is the ultimate clean energy fuel for the future.
We see hydrogen as providing a flexible solution in energy provision, complementing the current electricity network and bridging the gap to a fully engaged 100% renewable future. Exciting hydrogen projects are springing up around the world. By embracing a hydrogen economy, our power stations, transportation and homes could soon be emitting H2O instead of increasing CO2, aiding the shift to a low-carbon future to mitigate the negative effects of climate change.
Why now? We welcome your participation to discuss how soon the hydrogen economy could become a reality.
