Digital Catapult has partnered with the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) to explore 5G opportunities in the logistics industry.

The integration of 5G into the logistics industry will drive significant enhancements to performance and productivity. 5G technology will be able to optimise logistics and supply chains through real-time insights, speed up production, streamline complex logistical processes, and reduce costs and maximise profits.

Digital Catapult is currently undertaking research and analysis into UK industry readiness levels for digitalisation, the opportunities and appetite that 5G technologies present. This series of events will further explore how the logistics and manufacturing sectors can unlock the economic potential of 5G.
