EV BATTERY MANAGEMENT LEGAL WORKSHOP (ReLiB)

Join the conversation

With accelerating plans to phase out the sale of petrol and diesel vehicles, lithium-ion batteries (or LiBs) presently look to be the likely replacement for powering electric vehicles. However, careful thought needs to given to these battery packs as they leave the vehicle. The ReLib project at the Faraday Institute are organising a 1-day training event on the current legal and regulatory landscape governing LiBs, with speakers from the industry, regulatory agencies and the legal sector.

Topics will include;

  • Issues of health and safety
  • Trans-shipment
  • Critical materials supply
  • End-of-life management

We also hope to facilitate discussion around the gaps in in existing regulatory frameworks, anticipated impact of Brexit, liabilities stemming from LiB use/re-use and future policy direction.

There are only 60 tickets available so please register your attendance as soon as possible as they will be issued on a first come first served basis.
