Enabling Unmanned Traffic Management System in the UK
May 22 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm| Free
About this Event
In 2019, Connected Places Catapult published a Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM) Whitepaper ‘Towards a UTM system for the UK’ putting forward a conceptual framework for a national UTM System and laid out the rationale for why a UTM is required in detail, along with several basic principles to be followed in order to leverage the maximum benefits.
This year, the Connected Places Catapult convened a more detailed development of Open-Access UTM and engaged with UAS and UTM community to formalise the framework and to define the future direction around which industry and regulators can openly engage with each other. The ‘Enabling Unmanned Traffic Management in the UK’ whitepaper provides an overview of the outcomes of the research and the next steps aimed at advancing UTM including a plan to test UTM.
This webinar will see the launch of our latest UTM whitepaper, provide an introduction and background information to the project, and answer any questions about the project you may have.
