Tesla ‘Full Self Driving’ Is Delayed
Tesla (ticker: TSLA) drivers with perfect Tesla-generated safety scores expected to wake up Saturday and have the newest version of Tesla’s Full Self Driving, or FSD, software ready to run on their vehicles. Self- driving start-up Wayve partners with Ocado for autonomous deliveries
BRITISH autonomous vehicle start-up Wayve has received a £10 million investment from online grocer Ocado ahead of a year-long trial involving self-driving delivery vehicles in urban areas. The trial will see Wayve’s hardware and software fitted to some of Ocado’s delivery vehicles, which will be tested in complex urban scenarios in the UK. Read More

Autonomous vehicle firm signs first local authority contract for its Auto-Shuttle technology
Aurrigo, has supplied the £250,000 fully autonomous and electric shuttle as part of ground-breaking passenger trials currently being delivered at the NEC. Carrying up to eight passengers, the vehicle uses a suite of sensors to understand its surroundings, allowing it to move around safely, interacting with live traffic with little or no operator input. A2GO Autonomous Shuttle Service Launches In Ann Arbor
May Mobility, Mcity and Ann Arbor SPARK today inaugurated the launch of A2GO, a new autonomous vehicle (AV) shuttle service serving the Ann Arbor community. The free shuttle service is available to the public beginning Monday, Oct. 11, 2021, thanks in part to a grant through the mobility efforts of the state of Michigan. Read More

Volvo Cars, Zoox and SAIC are among the growing ranks of transportation companies using the newest NVIDIA DRIVE solutions to power their AI-based autonomous vehicles, NVIDIA has announced. Sensors, Controls and Digitalisation: October 18th, 2021 – The three Transforming Foundation Industries (TFI) supporting groups (KTN, Network+ and TransFIRe) are jointly organising three online conferences to find solution providers to address the challenges of the Foundation Industries (FIs). Research and innovation from both the academic and industrial community will be showcased. Pathway to Net Zero Investment: October 21st, 2021 – The Net Zero agenda will require significant up-front investment to transition our existing carbon intensive system, such as how we heat our homes and how we travel, to a lower carbon alternative. The UK Cities Climate Investment Commission (UK CCIC), a partnership between Connected Places Catapult, Core Cities and London Councils, adopts a novel approach to addressing the challenge of financing Net Zero in major cities across the UK. Future flight challenge phase 3: strand 2 – The aim of this competition is to fund projects that will deliver the 2024 vision of the Future Flight Challenge and position the UK as a leader in the third revolution of aviation. This competition will build on the success of the 2020 Phase 2 competition and will focus primarily on the demonstration aspects of these novel air vehicles and systems. In Strand 2 projects must focus on developing enabling technologies and cross-cutting systems that support the deployment of these novel air vehicles in UK airspace. Read More
Future flight challenge phase 3: strand 1 – The aim of this competition is to fund projects that will deliver the 2024 vision of the Future Flight Challenge and position the UK as a leader in the third revolution of aviation. This competition will build on the success of the 2020 Phase 2 competition and will focus primarily on the demonstration aspects of these novel air vehicles and systems.
