The CEO of Msheireb Properties Acting, Eng Ali Al Kuwari, has announced that a “autonomous vehicle” concept is being implemented by Msheireb Downtown Doha. The car is a driverless concept to be deployed around the smart city in delivery services. While addressing the virtual “Doha Smart Cities Summit” yesterday, Al Kuwari announced this.
Cars or trucks that do not need human drivers to run them safely are self-driving vehicles. To control, navigate, and drive the car, they combine sensors and software.
In remote learning, working from home, and providing services that rely on robots or autonomous equipment, Smart Cities demonstrated that they were able to meet person and company needs much better than traditional cities.
In light of this I have the honour to announce that Msheireb Properties is adopting a definition of “autonomous vehicle” that can be used in many ways especially without a driver for delivery services. In Msheireb Downtown Doha, more tests are being performed, and once they are done, the vehicle will serve residents and tenants, Eng Al Kuwari said.
