British Airways said to transport 75,000 bags through baggage halls and aircraft, and back, for hundreds of flights per day. The airline had announced a £6.5 billion investment programme and in that investment they’re choosing to get involved with the autonomous space with new trials to confirm maximum productivity.
The autonomous vehicles work to aid the airline make prompt transports and depart every flight on time.
Each driverless baggage vehicle’s equipped with advanced navigation system to learn best routes on the airfield, and designed to readily depart once loaded.
Furthermore British Airways is committing towards environmental awareness because the autonomous vehicles support zero-emission powering.
