Automaker Bentley has revealed its vision of a future autonomous, zero-emission luxury vehicle called the EXP 100 GT.

The vehicle has been built to celebrate the brand’s 100th birthday.

The Shropshire Star reports that the new model features self-driving technology, electric propulsion and sustainably sourced materials.

The EXP 100 GT is said to have been designed to re-imagine the Grand Tourer segment ‘for the world of 2035’ and features a choice between drivers getting behind the wheel or autonomous driving.

According to the Shropshire Star the intelligent self-driving system has been designed to understand when a spirited drive is required, either on a mountain pass, or perhaps if a smoother, more relaxing drive might be preferred.

Powered by a battery-electric powertrain that uses a motor on each wheel, the EXP 100 GT offers all-wheel-drive as well as torque vectoring to provide increased grip. Bentley also said that the 0 to 60mph time would be 2.5 seconds with a top speed of 186mph.
