Oxfordshire gets £1.25m for connected vehicle introduction

The grant of taxpayers’ money, through the national GovTech Catalyst initiative, will go towards work to “transform the existing Oxfordshire traffic management system” ready for the Government’s hoped-for introduction of connected vehicles by 2021.The money will be spent on researching new ways of harnessing data, processing it and pushing it back out onto the road network or direct to vehicles or other road users. Read More

Bosch To Invest Four Billion Euros In Autonomous Cars Development

German auto supplier Robert Bosch announced a push into parking, recharging and maintenance services for electric and self-driving vehicles as it posted flat annual operating profit on Wednesday.
